A HUGE SHOUT OUT to our Grizzly parents, grandparents, friends, business sponsors, and anyone who helped to make a donation for our school. Your support was tremendous and our Grizzlies did an O-SO amazing job of running O-SO many laps! And a special thank you to the Grizzly Fun Run crew led by Shannon Weitzman & Laura Meis, who helped bring this fundraiser to life.

RED RIBBON WEEK…OCT 21-25th: “Healthy Choices Help Us Build a Better Foundation”
*MONDAY- Red Ribbon Week Kick-Off—-Students will receive Red Ribbon Week wristbands and make a pledge to make healthy choices
*TUESDAY- Mindful Tuesday—-Students will participate in a mindful meditation exercise
*WEDNESDAY- Wear Red Day—- Wear red to take a stand against drugs
*THURSDAY- Team Spirit—-Wear your favorite sports team shirt or jersey to show you love to exercise your mind and body. **Our very own Oso-Health & Wellness Crew will lead lunchtime activities
*FRIDAY- Oso Grande Spirit Wear—Wear your Oso Grande spirit wear to show that Oso students can make healthy choices and build a better foundation as a community. ***Special speaker will be at the Friday flag ceremony at 8:00 a.m.!!

CUSD is offering FREE parent workshops to help our families thrive at home and within the community. Come check out the free resources they are offering and learn more how our school district can help support you!

What: Parent Workshop Series – Managing Your Child’s Behavior at Home
When: Every Tuesday for 7 weeks (must attend all weeks), Oct 22-Dec 10th, 6-8pm (no class 11/26)
Where: Hidden Hills Elementary, Laguna Niguel
Why: Participate in this insightful workshop to help with one of the biggest challenges parents face – difficult behavior at home
