Away Field Trip

In January, the Kindergartners will be going to Centennial Farm. Centennial Farm is a three-acre working farm at the OC Fair & Event Center created to educate youth about agriculture and its importance to daily life. Centennial Farm is home to fruit and vegetable gardens, livestock, and the Millennium Barn.

1st Grade

Away Field Trip

In April, the first graders will go to Rancho Las Lomas Wildlife Foundation. This open air museum will educate and inspire the students about the wonders of the natural world and help them to better understand the link between people. animals and the preservation of nature.

In-School Field Trip

In December,  The Alley Cats will be performing “Tis the Season”. The Alley Cats are a part of the Arts Teach program though the Segerstrom Center for the Arts. They will commemorate the season in a celebration of the sounds of some of America’s most beloved holiday classics.

2nd Grade

Away Field Trip

In May, the 2nd graders will head out to the historic Trabuco Elementary School for “Rockin’ with Trabucosaurus”. This is a part of the Trabuco Field Study Program that offers unique science adventures. Activities are correlated to classroom science units and incorporates STEM and Next Generation Science Standards.

3rd Grade

Away Field Trip

In April, the third graders will head to Heritage Hill Historical Park. Heritage Hill Historical Park’s 4.1 acres includes , four fully restored and furnished historic buildings that span the early history of the Saddleback Valley and El Toro area from the Mexican Rancho era (Serrano Adobe, circa 1863), to the founding of the town of El Toro (El Toro Grammar School, 1890; St. George’s Episcopal Mission, 1891), through the citrus farming days of the early twentieth century (Harvey Bennett Ranch House, 1908).

4th Grade

Away Field Trip

In March, the 4th graders will be going to the Mission at San Juan Capistrano. The students will experience a variety of hands-on learning activities with our educational programs! Students will learn about California’s history in a dynamic way by examining the construction of the Mission in “Making the Grade” and celebrating the First People of California in “Journeys to the Past.” They will actively engage with history and gain a comprehensive understanding of the Mission’s role in shaping California today in “Mission Matters.” These programs meet the California History-Social Science Standards and the Next Generation Science Standards and present school curriculum in a way that will complement the lessons in the classroom.

In-School Field Trip

Walk Through California will take place in  December. This is an engaging and interactive presentation with friendly competition and lively retelling of our standard history curriculum.  It is an unforgettable in-school field trip. The presentation is presented by a lively, entertaining presenter who guides the students through historic events using dynamic, kid-friendly stories and activities.
