WATER BOTTLE WEDNESDAYS

We will be having our first recycling drive of the year on Wednesday, October 3rd. Please start saving your plastic bottles and aluminum cans with the "CRV" (California Redemption Value) symbol. On October 3rd, volunteers will be walking the pick up line to get the recycling from your cars. If you are walking onto campus, you can drop your recycling at the front of the school. Volunteers will be out at both the 11:00 am and 1:05 pm pick up times.

If you have any questions please email Jennifer Byerly.

We will be having Water Bottle Wednesday recycling drives the first Wednesday of every month on an on-going basis, so please continue to save your cans and plastic bottles.

LADERA GoCards

It's a great way to raise money for Oso Grande while you’re shopping around Ladera Ranch! You should have received two GoCards in your Thursday folder last week that you can load and use as a Reloadable Gift Card at many Ladera Ranch businesses. Each time you load your cards for use around Ladera, 6% goes right to OUR SCHOOL. Very easy and cool! Our goal is to get as many parents using their card when they shop at participating stores as possible. The great thing is that you can just shop where you probably already do, using the GoCard and raise money for Oso Grande PTA!!

  • SIGN UP - go to www.laderagocard.com with your card ready and follow the on screen directions.
  • If you have a retail or home-based business & you would like to be apart of the GO CARD, please email Chris Hatter(yes - the previous owner of GameOn!)
  • Pass one on to a friend/neighbor/relative/teacher... More cards are available in the front office.
  • LIKE the GoCard on FaceBook
  • Who do you want to see on the GoCard - tell them on FaceBook!
  • Better than a gift card since if a store closes, you are not out the money!
  • iPhone App is coming SOON!

JUST ADDED - Kaleidoscope's The Derby & Rockin B's Burrito Bandito restaurants & The Basics of Skateboarding Ladera Ranch camps. Thank you for using the Ladera GoCard & supporting Oso Grande!

Recycle your bottles and cans to raise money for PTA

  • Take plastic, aluminum & glass beverage containers with the "CRV" symbol to an area redemption center for cash back. Containers should be clean, empty and sorted by material. The closest redemption center is next to the Pavilions at Oso and Marguerite. For this center only, all lids must be off bottles.
  • The redemption center will give you a voucher, which you'll trade for cash inside the grocery store. Keep your receipt.
  • Return cash or check made out to "Oso Grande PTA" plus the receipt to the school office.
  • All money will be used to support PTA programs.
For additional redemption centers or information call 1-800-RECYCLE or visit www.bottlesandcans.com
