Please join us for the very first association meeting of our school year to check out what PTA is all about & how you can participate in supporting our Oso Grizzlies. We will be meeting in the MPR at 8:30am, after Friday Flag. Membership cards and Spirit Sticks will be distributed before the meeting!!
PTA WAIVERS NEED TO BE COMPLETED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE GRIZZLY FUN RUN!
A signed waiver is needed for ALL participation in PTA activities so please be sure to fill it out ASAP! It can be completed at www.osograndepta.com.
THE GRIZZLY FUN RUN!— STUDENT PEP RALLY
The Grizzly Fun Run is one of our largest annual fundraisers which help us support many of the programs for our Grizzlies all year long. It’s a two-week program that kicks off with all Oso students participating in the Pep Rally on October 2nd. Families will then gather pledges for every lap your student runs (30-35 laps) at the Grizzly Fun Run, which will happen on October 11th. Students will also experience an amazing character theme, MINDSPARK: WILD WEST!

REFLECTIONS CONTEST—DUE TOMORROW, FRIDAY, SEPT 27th!
Put your artistic thinking caps on & share your talents with the PTA Reflections contest! This is a nation-wide art contest where our Grizzlies can submit entries supporting this year’s theme, “Look Within”, in the following categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, & Visual Arts. Bring the whole family to our new Monster Mash! Wear your best Halloween costume and join us for family fun! Join us on the blacktop at 6:30p.m. for treats, desserts, dancing & fun…no tricks! RUBY’S DINER FOR A RESTAURANT FUNDRAISER!—ALL WEEKEND LONG!, SEPT 28-29
You can support Oso Grande with breakfast, lunch, and dinner all weekend long! Come in to Ruby’s and 20% of all food and non-alcoholic beverage sales will be donated to Oso Grande! **Ruby’s will require people to show digital or printed flyer!! (attached)
INTERNATIONAL WALK TO SCHOOL DAY & LOLA’S CAFE COFFEE ON WED, OCT 2nd!
Set the alarm, put on your sneakers, grab a water bottle and hike it to school with your kids! Let’s promote healthier habits and help conserve our environment! Together we can make it a more walkable world! Each Grizzly will receive a Golden Grizzly for their participation. And when you get there, please stop by to grab a coffee for you (or your teacher!) from Lola’s Cafe!
