Letter to the Community

Dear Community Friends and Businesses,

I would like to start off by thanking you for your support of Oso Grande in the past whether it be in spirit or monetarily. I know these times are unprecedented for all which makes it more imperative that we support the schools of our communities and provide the best opportunities to our students. Strong schools are the foundations of strong communities. Therefore, I am reaching out to invite you to participate in Oso Grande Elementary’s annual Grizzly Fun Run! Oso Grande is a K-5 elementary school in Ladera Ranch and one of the largest elementary schools in the district. The annual Fun Run is our biggest school fundraiser and will be held October 13th, 2023. We are actively seeking local business sponsors and partners for this event. All funds raised will directly support our students by funding many of our PTA programs throughout the school year.

Some of the amazing programs that rely on generous donations include:

  • Art Masters Program
  • Librarian and library resources and Literacy-enrichment
  • Social-emotional learning and wellness
  • Technology applications (iReady, Reading Counts)
  • Assemblies and future field trips
  • STEAM Lab and curriculum
  • Safety Initiatives & School Improvements

There are 4 levels of sponsorship opportunities for our 2023 Fun Run which are detailed in the enclosed sponsorship form. Each level of sponsorship supports Oso Grande while providing you an opportunity to market your business/service. We will be utilizing our many sources of social media and website to highlight and recognize your support, not just during this event but all year long! We encourage you to select the sponsorship that best meets your goals for reaching the community. All donations are tax deductible.
