Are you wanting to get more involved in the school or be more active on campus? We need you! As you know, all PTA sponsored events and programs are successful because of the volunteers that create, manage and facilitate them. Many PTA positions will be opening up next year and without successors to take on the positions, programs or events may have to be eliminated. This is where you can help. Taking on an active roll is a great opportunity to make a difference, meet people and use your skills to benefit the school.
Below are the PTA Board positions and Committee Chair positions available for the 23-24 school year.

PTA Board
Legislative Rep:
Responsible for demonstrating leadership on children’s issues at the local level by educating PTA members, community members and elected officials about PTA issues on concern and legislative priorities and goals. Mission is to speak on behalf of all children and youth at the local, state and federal level.
Committee Chairs
Book fair: work with Scholastic and the school to schedule and facilitate book fairs (twice per year)
Restaurant Fundraiser: schedule fundraisers throughout the school year. (few times a year)
Communications: create and maintain Social Media & Newsletter. (ongoing)
Website: maintain and update website with current information (ongoing)
Oso Spruce it Up: coordinate Spruce it up day. (once a year)
Science Fair: work with team to create theme and facilitate school Science Fair (once a year)
Donations: keep record of all donations
Membership: keep record of all memberships and respective levels
